No. Reaching a target moves the campaign toward acquisition. We say acquired only after reviewed closing evidence, reopened only after reviewed legal-use evidence and ministry activity, and sustained only after reviewed reports at 6, 12 and 24 months.

That depends on the recipient organization and your circumstances. We do not claim tax-deductibility unless it has been legally approved for that campaign, and receipts say so.
No. A donation gives no ownership or interest, is not an investment, and does not guarantee acquisition.
A pledge is a commitment recorded now and collected later; a gift is money received and confirmed by our payment processor. They are always shown separately.
Gifts are handled under the campaign's published terms — returned, redirected with your consent, or moved to the General Rescue Fund — and the outcome is recorded in the ledger. See If acquisition fails.
