Fifteen checks, evidence for each, and two independent approvals.
A verified campaign has passed all mandatory checks: the applicant is who they say they are and has authority to act; the organization exists and is in good standing; it is a Christian congregation, ministry or coalition; the property, its ownership, sale status, price and terms are confirmed; title, zoning and physical condition have been reviewed; the budget and funding plan add up; there is a credible sustainability plan; conflicts of interest are disclosed; and any claims made in media are supported.
Each check records the reviewer, the evidence and an outcome. Checks expire and are renewed. Publication then needs approval from two independent staff — a reviewer can never approve their own work. Supporters never see private documents; they see the outcome of each check on the campaign page.
