Nomination → triage → invitation → application → review → approval → prelaunch review → live → funding threshold → acquisition pending → acquired → restoring → reopened → sustained (6, 12, 24 months).
The database enforces this order. A campaign cannot skip from live to acquired; it must reach its threshold and pass through acquisition pending. Every status change carries a reason and is kept in an immutable history you can see on the campaign page.
